Hello, I am a cyclist looking to make a group of casual bike riders for a daily morning ride in the Eagle Rock / Pasadena area. I am not a hard core rider so rides of 10-20 miles tops is the goal, anywhere from 3 to 5 days a week. The rides will be of a moderate level of difficulty not exceeding 2 hours and more likely only an hour. The goal of every ride should be a cup of coffee at some point. Start in Sunset Beach at 8:30 AM under the "Water Tower" beach rental and ride to the HB Pier on the bike path. Round trip about 13 miles. Breakfast/Coffee at the HB Pier before returning to Sunset Beach if everyone is interested. The pace we keep is mid-range Hybrid bike / Cross training speed. Not as fast as a road bike pace and not as slow as a beach cruiser pace. Come out and get some exercise!
