Join us if you'd like to take leisurely road bike rides on the weekend through the scenic countryside around Boulder. Our pace will be slow compared to most cycling clubs, maybe a mild step up from cruiser rides. We'll just go at our own pace. A typical ride might be 20 miles roundtrip in the Boulder area. We go at about a pace of 12-14 mph on the flats, but stop frequently, so the overall pace with stops is about 8 mph over about a 3 hour ride.
Our goal is to encourage more people to ride more often and provide as many opportunities for that as possible. We try to be inclusive and provide rides for cyclists of all ability levels. Read this to learn how we rate our rides: http://tinyurl.com/87s2bme If you are a new or returning cyclist, we hope you will find some rides scheduled here that match what you want to do. If not, please email Buzz, our organizer, or suggest a ride on the home page. All members can suggest and create rides. I …

Denver is full of cycling enthusiasts, but most of us only do group rides on the weekends. Rather than wait for Saturday to roll around, let's get a 15-20 mile ride in during lunch a few days per week. Riders of all ability levels are welcome. Courses will vary, but will all start and end downtown, be between 15-20 miles, and average speeds of 16-20 mph.

This meetup is about getting people together and heading out to fun riding destinations and doing multi-day supported bike trips. All trips will be supported, with transportation, a kitchen, coolers, and more. The bus has sofas and a TV, so you can chill, sleep, play games, or whatever you want to do on your way out to Moab, Fruita, Salida, and more! Join us to do some serious rides and some fun rides, and to turn the hassle of driving into a trip that's as fun as the riding once we get there.

… In a group you will be riding at the groups pace and not your own. Some people prefer riding in a group and some don't, you will have to figure out what works and what doesn't for you. The ride leaders will adjust the pace of the group when needed but it will always be close to the level that is posted. We encourage new riders. That being said we also encourage more experienced riders. In order to meet the group in the middle the new riders will have to work pretty hard to keep up and the more e …
